Teaching notes

This proverb page was developed on the Linux operating system using Netscape 3.0 and used in a computer lab with windows 95J and Netscape 3.0 and MSIE 3.0. I have no idea if the mac can handle the javascript or if other browsers are up to it. Sorry, it was put together with a very narrow group in mind.

The page uses a combination of form tags and javascript to create a (somewhat) interactive experience. Maybe someday, I'll make it a real CGI script that grades responses and let's the student do more.

The form field was used to allow the student to type in an answer before viewing the 'correct' answer. Students were allowed to work at their own pace and were allowed to use dictionaries and the Internet to find the correct responses.
