Languages other than English

Originally, this site was focused on linguistics. As time went on, and I studied more TESL/TEFL-related subjects, English became the main focus. However, at one point, I was asked to do a workshop for teachers of high-school level (ages 13 - 18) language students. In my area, the major languages taught at that level are Spanish, French, German, and Japanese, so I gathered together several resources in those languages for the purposes of the workshop. As time went by, however, many people submitted sites for other non-English languages -- enough to merit their own category! As one language gained enough links to merit its own page, it was moved to a separate category of its own. The rest remain here in a wonderful jumble of non-English-language resources.

This non-discriminatory page may also feature artificial languages such as Klingon and Esperanto. I find languages fascinating, whether natural or artificial. If you do too, I hope you enjoy browsing these language resources.
